We Are Looking For New Trustees

Trustees – we are looking for special people …………

FWP is pleased to announce today that for the first time since our inception, we are recruiting Trustees to join the Board of Fighting With Pride.  We are looking for talented people and particularly those with specialism in charity finance, governance, fundraising, digital media, relevant law experience and media.  We also need those with lived-experience of the ban. For reasons relating to the ban, those with lived experience may not have other specialisms and they will not be disadvantaged.

Our Trustees help us develop our plans for the future, they have compassion and empathy for the community we serve and are determined to support FWP to win through.  They have strong leadership and communications skills and can work as a team to reach agreement. Many have lived experience of the ban, but they represent FWP as an act of service and are at a moment in life when they can be Trustees without causing themselves too much churn.  Our Board needs skilled people and they exist in all parts of society.  Being LGBT+ or a veteran is NOT an essential characteristic, being passionate about our cause is.
