Jordan joined the Royal Air Force in 2012 and commissioned into Air and Space Operations (Control) in 2021.

Throughout his career, he has held a variety of leadership roles shaping both operational delivery and organisational culture. These include serving as Deputy Executive Officer on 78 Squadron, supporting unit leadership, governance and personnel management, and as an Area Radar Conversion Instructor, responsible for training and developing the next generation of operators.

As a serving officer, Jordan brings lived experience and a strong personal commitment to improving outcomes for LGBTQ+ personnel in the Armed Forces. His passion for inclusion has been shaped by his own journey through Service during a period of significant cultural change, and he is driven to ensure that both current personnel and those affected by the historic ban feel recognised, supported and valued.

He has played a leading role in advancing inclusion across the RAF, including as Co-Chair of the RAF LGBTQ+ Network, where he has strengthened support, visibility and advocacy, and influenced senior leaders on policy and culture. In recognition of his impact, he was awarded Armed Forces Leader of the Year at the Defence LGBTQ+ Awards.

He is proud to support Fighting With Pride’s mission to ensure LGBTQ+ veterans are recognised, supported and never forgotten, while also advocating for the serving community and raising awareness of the challenges they continue to face today.
