(He/Him/His)
Chris brings nearly 25 years of experience in the charity and third sector, with a focus on frontline roles supporting people facing complex and overlapping challenges. They have worked extensively in homelessness services, as well as in projects focused on mental ill-health, addiction, and rehabilitation.
Throughout their career, Chris has supported marginalised individuals and communities, including LGBTQ+ people and those affected by poverty, trauma, and social exclusion. Their work spans grassroots organisations to national charities, always rooted in a trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
Chris has a strong background in advocacy, casework, and developing inclusive, accessible services. Most recently, they worked with Woody’s Lodge, a charity supporting Armed Forces veterans, Reservists, and Emergency Service personnel, where they provided advice, emotional support, and practical assistance across a wide range of issues.
Chris is committed to helping people reclaim their voice, assert their rights, and access the support they deserve.
Chris’s hobbies are as diverse as their professional experience. They enjoy exploring the coastlines and historical sites of South Wales, reflecting a strong interest in nature and wildlife conservation. Chris also enjoys reading, music, and crafting, and is a proud dog dad to two very spoilt dogs.
