We will keep this list updated with most imminent events at the top of the list. Please check in to see what events are coming up you may wish to sign up for.
A service of Reflection & Reparation will be held in Ripon Cathedral on Sunday 14th of June. Full details will follow shortly, including how you can attend.

Following the successful dedication of the LGBT+ Armed Forces Community Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in October 2025, Fighting With Pride is delighted to announce a Community Dedication Event Saturday 20 June 2026.
This special gathering is for the wider LGBT+ Armed Forces family – veterans, serving personnel, and importantly, friends and families who were unable to attend the official ceremony. It will be a day of celebration, pride and community, with live music, a picnic atmosphere, a short ceremony at the memorial, contributions from veterans and serving personnel, representation from service and veterans’ charities.
We want this event to feel inclusive, joyful and affirming, giving everyone the chance to connect, reflect and celebrate the courage, service and dignity of the LGBT+ Armed Forces community.
If you have official guests, charities or organisations you feel should be invited, or military/association bands that could contribute to the event, please get in touch with our Memorial Officer, Roly Woods, at: memorialofficer@fightingwithpride.org.uk
Full details, including the confirmed timings and formal registration information, will be shared on the Fighting With Pride website and social media in the coming months.
At this stage we just need to ask for an expression of interest so we can have a good idea of numbers for planning purposes. In this form (Link from button below) you will be able to indicate how many other family and friends you would like to bring to the event with you. Be advised, we may need to ask for a nominal charge per head for each of your additional guests. This is to be confirmed.
With pride,
Roly Woods
Memorial Officer
Fighting With Pride

An opportunity for Fighting With Pride veterans to visit Glyndebourne Opera House and watch the final dress rehearsal of Benjamin Britten’s opera Billy Budd. Glyndebourne is a beautiful world-class opera house in the countryside of South East England. The performance is on Thursday 25 June 2026.
The Opera
The opera is set onboard the HMS Indomitable in 1797, during the French Revolutionary Wars. Its themes speak directly to experiences of secrecy, vulnerability, injustice, and longing within an all male martial world. The themes are hard hitting. Life under suspicion, forbidden desire, innocence punished, institutional failure, and the human cost of moral compromise.
The Composer
Britten (1913-1976) was a central figure in twentieth-century classical music and lived with his partner, the tenor Peter Pears.
