Human Resources Advisor and Project Officer

Julia is our Human Resources (HR) Advisor and Project Officer and has worked with Fighting With Pride (FWP) from its inception. Julia is responsible for recruitment, selection and onboarding for FWP across the UK. She also provides advice and guidance on employment law, HR policies and procedures and term and conditions of employment. Julia manages numerous projects and supports the FWP Board of Trustees.
Julia is extremely proud to be part of the charity.
With an interesting, successful and diverse career in HR for over twenty-five years, Julia has also contributed to other organisations in the charity, public and private sectors. She has supported them in improving wellbeing and performance and reducing risk, most notably as an HR Business Partner / Manager for the Probation Service, the RSPCA, a London Marketing Agency and American Express.
Julia lives in Sussex with her husband and two sons, and they enjoy walking on the South Downs or by the sea with their dog Buddy. Julia also likes reading, garden design and attending live music and comedy in her local town of Brighton.
