What: Remembrance Come and Sing

IWM would like to invite you to participate in a Come and Sing event, being held at the Imperial War Museum, London on Saturday 8 November, led by Sweet Track Productions with award-winning conductor, Andrea Brown.

To mark Remembrance Day 2025, IWM is hosting a Come and Sing day at IWM London. Participants will come together to learn and rehearse approximately four songs ending with a 25 minute performance for IWM visitors. We will confirm the repertoire in advance of the day.

Saturday 8th November, arrival 9.45am for 10am prompt start. Event ends at 3.30pm

With a repertoire selected to reflect themes relating to Remembrance Sunday, the aim of this Come and Sing workshop and event is to bring people together in reflection and commemoration. Participants from several local London choirs are invited to learn and rehearse four songs in a workshop, before performing it for museum visitors at the end of the day. There will be a professional soloist and musicians as part of the performance.

The group will be led by a professional and award-winning conductor, Andrea Brown and keyboard accompanist. The music will accessible and fun to learn.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The day will start with arrivals and refreshments from 9.45am with rehearsals starting at 10.00, there will be tea/coffee breaks and a lunchbreak.
The performance will take place at 15.00 and will finish at 15.30.

Please be aware that the performance will be held in a public space in the museum for IWM visitors who may wish to photograph or film the event and share on social media, which will be outside of IWM’s control.

Under 18s will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
